wow, Kennedy's K/9 is way higher than even Chamberlain's at this point. And he's given up no HRs. The more I read about him, the more I like him. Along with Betances, 2006 could end up being a very productive draft.
It seems like Joba is a Schilling type pitcher: lots of ks, few baserunners, but a solo HR now and then. Going from the stats, it seems he's more willing to groove a pitch than walk the guy. It's dominating so far.
Kennedy seems more like a CM Wang type guy. Fair amount of hits, but his ERA is still decent bc he doesn't walk many guys and doesn't allow the longball.
Betances has been compared to Daniel Cabrera (of Baltimore). If he has consistent control, he'll be better. He's already got a blazing fb, and a decent curve. He's working on a change.
I'm very much looking forward to '07 to see how these guys fare in their first full years.
