Jeter had probably the two biggest hits of the year. 1. his 2-out, 7th inning, go-ahead 3-run double off Mike Timlin in game 2 of the 'Son of Massacre.' 2. his 2-out, 9th inning, game-tying rbi single off Papelbon in game 4 of the 'Son of Massacre.' If not for these two hits, the Yanks may have won only 3 of 5 instead of all 5. The sweep ended Boston's season.
Posada gets my #2 for his best overall season ever, great on offense and defense.

Now let's do the Cy Young. A little tougher, but I still don't think it'll be that tough.
